About Bamacore Photography

Fast Shutter. Loud Music. Real Moments

Bamacore Photography is the work of one person: a lifelong fan of the heavy music scene, a champion of local artists, and someone who knows the power of a perfectly timed shot. Whether I’m elbows-deep in the photo pit at a hardcore show, catching candid smiles at a rescue event, or locking eyes with a curious toddler through the lens—every photo I take is rooted in connection.

What started as a passion for capturing live music evolved into something bigger. Today, Bamacore Photography covers concerts, candid events, pet rescues, and community stories—all with the same goal: to preserve the moments that move people. I don't do stiff poses or staged perfection. I’m here for the sweat, the energy, the emotion, and the stories most people miss.

loud. local. loyal.

Bamacore was built with the local music scene in mind. I’ve spent years photographing Birmingham’s bands, DIY venues, and regional tours that roll through town. I know the grind because I’ve lived it—and I believe these artists deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered. Through my lens, I aim to give back to the scene that raised me.

My work doesn’t stop at the stage. I also run a local concert calendar, highlight underground bands on my blog, and create photo galleries that fans and artists alike can relive. If it matters to the scene, it matters to me.

Every crowd surf, every broken string, every sweaty mic grab—I’m there to document the energy that keeps this scene alive. The venues may be small, but the moments are massive. And if I can help a band get noticed with one killer photo, that’s a win for all of us.

I’ve been in your shoes—and I know how hard it is to get quality live photos when you're just getting started. If you're a local or regional band playing in the Birmingham area, I’ll shoot your set for free. All I ask is that you put me on the guest list, and understand it’s subject to availability.

Unfiltered. Unscrtipted. Unmissable.

Some of my favorite moments have nothing to do with the stage. They happen at pet adoption events, community gatherings, or quiet, everyday scenes full of life and emotion. Whether I’m capturing a rescue dog’s first hug or the curiosity in a kid’s eyes, these moments hit just as hard. The energy might be different—but the impact is just as real.

I approach every shoot the same way: eyes open, camera ready, and zero expectations. That’s how the best moments happen. No posing, no do-overs—just genuine emotion, frozen in time. These are the photos people remember years from now, because they weren’t manufactured. They just were.

Unscripted doesn’t mean unimportant. It means honest—and that’s the kind of photography I live for.

Let’s work together!
